Common Parent Questions

Understanding the policies and support systems that guide our Junior Secondary students.

Absolutely. We move beyond textbook theory. From conducting experiments in our science laboratories to actively learning agricultural science and business management at our large campus catfish fishery, our students learn by doing.

Preparation begins early in JSS3. Students undergo intensive revision periods, extensive past-question drills, standard mock examinations, and targeted extension classes to ensure exceptional performance in their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and state exams.

We treat our secondary students as young adults, fostering a culture of mutual respect, accountability, and self-discipline. We utilize a restorative approach to discipline, ensuring students understand the consequences of their actions while providing counseling support to guide better decision-making.

Not at all. We maintain strict environmental and safety standards. The entrances to the fishery are completely sealed with high-quality protectors to ensure student safety, and the water is changed regularly so that absolutely no smell is produced, keeping the learning environment pristine and comfortable.

The transition to JSS1 brings an increase in both subjects and homework. We help students manage this step-up through study skills workshops and guided timetables, ensuring they learn how to research independently and manage their time effectively without feeling overwhelmed.
